Facts:

Lake Murray, the second largest lake in the state, has great real estate opportunities. If you've ever considered living on the lake, this is the place for you! There are plenty of communities to choose from - the sky's the limit! The lake also offers plenty of public access as well as Dreher Island State Recreation Area for visitors to use the lake. Completed in 1930, the lake was the world's largest man-made reservoir. The lake, fed by the Saluda River, provides hydroelectric power to many South Carolinians. Brand new to the Internet, the new Lake Murray Chamber of Commerce has a page full of local business in the area which support life on the lake.
